Justin Lee Anderson

Justin has an MA in English Literature and over 15 years of professional experience as a writer and editor, working across multiple organisations and a variety of media. From traditional magazines and guidebooks to local press and online learning resources, Justin forged a career as a creative, entertaining writer and an editor who improves copy while preserving the original intention and tone.

His first novel, Carpet Diem, won the 2018 Audie award for Humour, and his second, The Lost War, won the 2020 SPFBO award, leading to a four-book deal with Orbit for The Eidyn Saga. Two animations he scripted and produced were also shortlisted for Scottish Creative awards.

Stephen Aryan

Stephen has 11 traditionally published fantasy novels, has done work for hire in video games, and is a creative writing guest lecturer at universities across the UK.

His debut novel, Battlemage, was a finalist for the David Gemmell Morningstar, and it won the inaugural Hellfest Inferno Award in France.

It took Stephen over a decade of submitting novels before he gained representation from a literary agent. With considerable experience of the submission process, and from working in marketing for over 20 years, he has the skills to help writers improve their work, and craft clear communications to agents.

Anna Stephens

Anna has extensive experience in writing speculative fiction for both traditional publication and tie-in publishers (Black Library and Marvel Comics). 

Having written nine novels (to Spring 2024) featuring, among others, military, religious, and romantic themes in both low- and high-magic worlds, as well as superhero and horror fiction, Anna is well-placed to understand your intentions and make them shine through story, plot, and character.

As well as being a qualified proofreader and currently studying with the College of Media and Publishing, Anna runs online SFF writing courses for writers serious about improving their craft.
